While I do love my New Zealands (especially when they have personalities like Loverboy), due to a few recent losses I believe due to the fireworks in the past 2 days, I will likely be phasing out of the NZ and we will be keeping the Rex and French Lops as our large breeds. In my opinion, NZW are a great beginner homestead rabbit for those raising for food because it is harder to get attached to the pure white/pink eye part. I know that’s not always 100% true in all cases since Mr Loverboy will live out his natural life here even if he’s the only NZ left..lol!

New Zealand White rabbits – Most are pedigree but some are still missing a couple. – I do not show them beyond fair so they may not be properly posed when I do take pics (I don’t always on these guys since I don’t cross colors, all are White). I can try to get better pics upon request but they aren’t too fond of cooperating. I do have actual commercial rabbitry lines within my few remaining NZ so it is actually not uncommon from some does to be over breed standard weight just by looking at food lol. My largest doe is over 14lbs
$25 each when available.

I currently have 2 litters that were born mid-May to be used for meat pen entries at the Adams County Fair. I will have all of those tattooed and available for sale at the fair after the show on July 27th.

With more ARBA Best in Show wins than any other breed, the New Zealand rabbit was a game changer for many breeders. Despite the name, the breed was originally developed in the United States and became recognized in 1916. New Zealands were prized for their quick growth rate and meat production, and while the Reds were initially more popular, the New Zealand White soon took over due to the easy of dyeing a white pelt for the fur market. – Maximum weight 12 lbs.

***All rabbits are sold on a first come first serve basis***
If you would like a specific rabbit held for guaranteed pickup there will now be a $5 non-refundable hold fee required per rabbit (I have PayPal if you don’t want to drop it off or are not local). I’ve had way to many no-shows for ones I’ve been asked to hold so now have to implement this. Sorry for any inconvenience but thank you for your understanding.
